We got the van and had everything done in about 24 hours. We returned with the van and was told that because we were willing to return it early we would get a discount. The girl there said her manager would call in the morning with the details.
We had to call every day for 3 days to finally get the manager, who told us that we would not get a discount. We said okay, we want the van back until our time is up. She said that because we'd returned it, we would have to pay another $100 and milage.
We asked her why did we return it then, when we were helping them out and returning it early to get an agreed upon discount? She basically told us oh well, we have to pay it.
We will be calling Uhaul head office when they open.
