We signed up with vonage in hopes of saving money instead they ended up costing us $200.00, We have bank fees from over drafts from them and lost our atm cards, we had to close our bank acct. and open a new one to protect us from them stealing our money. They told us they worked with our D.S.L company so we signed up. They also said that they would keep our phone number and cancel our phone service we were using at the time. We got their stuff to start the service and hooked it up, we had alot of trouble to get it to work. About a week later our other service was canceled by vonage and we ended up with nothing no phone or internet. We put money on our cell to find out what was going on, after spending all our minutes on cell phone with vonage then our internet provider we found out that they do not work with vonage. Our internet provider told us they didnt work with them and vonage still agrued with us that they did! So we had to put more money on cell to try to cancel with vonage and get our old service back on, this took us two weeks! Up to today we are still not canceled from the company, and we were still getting charged from vonage and our old phone service and we never got to use the vonage service. We were charged money for over drafts from the bank. We also have to pay to ship their product back and lost our D.S.L, we have to send our stuff back to our internet provider and are on dial up until they get our stuff and we have sign up for D.SL. again. This has been a nightmare! all this happened a week before Christmas taking away from our children. By the way we had to get a new phone number too.
