Allied Interstate, LLC Attempted to collected payment on credit card that is past statue of limitations and no longer on credit report. WARRENTON Virginia

I received a phone call from 866-466-4476. As soon as I answered, the person immediately stated he was recording the call (so I laughed) asked for me by name and then asked if my last 4 digits of my SS where XXXX. I confirmed. Then he proceeded to inquire whether there is anyone else by my name in the house hold and I repsonded yes, there are 2 other people with similiar or identical names. He proceeded to fumble and claim that there is an outstanding debt for CapitalOne for $3K and they would offer me a settlement for $400. I scoffed at the gentleman and immediately asked him for their mailing address and contact information. He asked me to hold and passed me on to a person he claims was a supervisor. I pressed once again for the address and informed him that he is in violation of the Fair Credit act and was attempting to collect a debt past it's statue of limitations. After FINALLY getting the person to provide the address, he had the nerve to ask if we could continue with the call. I responded with "Thank you but this conversation is over. You will be received a certified letter from an attorney to cease all further attempts" and hung up.
