Cohen & Associates Jeffrey Landon Emails false collections, callback gets you "notice of service" Irvine Internet

I recieved an e-mail from these people stating that I owed a large debt. I called the number listed, and they sounded very legitimate, even though I could not remember ever having had a debt with the company that was specified.

They claimed to be an attorneys office working for their client and told me that I would be served with papers at my place of employment if I did not make payment arrangements, so I did. However, speaking with my spouse, and doing research, I realized that I never had an account with their so-called client company, and that no such attorney is listed anywhere in California.
