I thought this debt transfer service would be a legitimate deal. Turns out, you can never reach anyone when trying to make contact. Do not do this balance transfer!!!!

Issues w/ Embrace Visa

I too felt like this was a good offer and chance to clear up my credit. They lived up to the offer to transfer the debt and once I paid it down so much they did indeed proceed to give me the promised credit to bring my balance down. The also sent me my credit card. Now I have successfully paid off this debt completely. The things I do not like is the number on the card 1-800-358-3516 always tells me i'm out of the calling area, so I have to call the number that is not toll free 678-259-8002. I always get someone who does not speak English very well and it is quite annoying, but I do get them to tell me my balance and answered other questions. I like to do my bill upkeep online and the website www.embracecard.com is useless unless you want to make a payment, it's not like other companies where you can check your balance and set up payments. I don't like having to make a long distance call every time I want to know my balance. After reading these posts I wonder what all they are hiding from.

Embrace Visa - Have not had any problems with them

I used the Embrace Visa program to payoff a debt that I had and have nothing but praise for them. I received my card in January after meeting all of their minimum requirements and at first I had no intention of using the card ever again.

When ever I use the card I go to the website "myembracevisa.com" and make a payment before it is due. After 6 months of consecutive payment they increased my credit limit like they said they would.

I am very happy with the card and it is helping to rebuild my credit becuase I make sure to make at least the minimum payment required every month and to never charge more than 1/2 of the credit limit.

So far I have not paid any interest because I pay the balance off at the end of every month. Like any other credit card, you have to make sure you understand all of the requirements before using it. Also, I have never had a problem getting in touch with anyone on the phone.

If I have a complaint it would be that I can not review my purchases online line, I have to wait for the paper statement, which I hate.
