Gerald Toliver On 03-01-2007, Gerald Toliver swindled (STOLE) $56,000 of my hard earned cash believing his dramatic/fraudulent/and downright lies about his Trucking Company (JIT TRUCKING) was going to loose it's license and loose the company entirely because of owed back taxes. He came with the superb sob story about his life crumbling before him and I was his only hope and he would re-pay me within 3 days! San Diego California

Mr. Gerald Toliver was introduced to me by a mutual aquaintance/friend. I do not know Gerald Toliver well at all. I only spoke to Gerald Toliver because of out mutual friend.

I trusted my friends judgement as he assured me Gerald Toliver was a devoted Christian and a man of his word. He assured me he would NEVER screw me over and he had done business with him in the past. I believed my friend based on what he told me in regards to his alleged past positive dealings the two had.

I am (or was) a private lender in the real estate world for a couple years until things went downhill quick. This is why my friend introduced Gerald Toliver to me (even though this wasn't a real estate based situation).

Toliver needed $42,500 to keep his business in good standing and up and running. He told me he was expecting a huge check within 3 days from a previous job he completed but it was an out of state check and would take a week of so to clear. He said the money was good as gold and I would be paid back within the week once that check he was expecting and was enroute to him via mail cleared. I loaned him the money based on the below sob story and lies.

Toliver had this superb/fraudulent/sob story about him losing his wife/kids/houses/cars/and trucking company he owned. The Trucking Companies name was (JIT TRUCKING COMPANY). Everything in his life was crumbling down around him. He said how hard he worked this trucking business for his wife and kids and how this business was all he had in life to offer his family and to survive and live.

He said the government (IRS) was going to close the business on 03-03-2007 because business (called JIT Trucking Company) because he owed back taxes and I was the only one that could save him and his company. He swore he would have me paid back within the week because that "check" was coming in was big enough to pay me back and it was already "in the mail".

I loaned him the money based on the below sob story and lies on 03-01-2007 and have ALL ACCOUNTING AND RECORD KEEPING AS PROOF. He does not debate he owes me the money. He just has not paid ONE PENNY OF IT BACK TO ME FOR 20 MONTHS !!!!! NOT ONE PENNY ?????? After numerous conversations, stroke job reasons, it started to get heated (I did) becaue he was driving around new vehicles and out and about in the club/bar scene acting the part of big buinsess man when all he is is a THIEF AND FRAUD.

I believed Gerald Toliver sob/fraudulent/con story due to his presentation, my friends input, and me believing he was a christian man and all. A christian man would never screw anyone over like that and would be honest and have integrity which he portrayed to have when he came to me for the "loan". What a lesson learned. He still has not paid a penny back and something needs to happen NOW !! And I mean immediate.
