I was searching for a foreign film for quite some time and came across the DVD through EBAY. I was so happy to finally find the DVD. However, 2 years later I learned that they had surreptitiously entered me into a monthly charge which entitled me to privileges and benefits that I was never aware of. Apparently, they e-mailed me a welcome letter introducing me to their membership program that would entitle me to discounts on future purchases. I never knew this. I never signed anything, and I never saw their welcome because either I did not receive it or it was mis-emailed or it went to my spam. They did not make any attempt to confirm receipt.

I had no idea that I was being charged monthly since I had not used that debit card for quite a while and it was attached to a nearly dead bank account that I don't add to. But it had overdraft. Nonethless, I finally caught this and called the company. All they could do was apologize for my confusion and not being satisfied with their discount program which I never used, never knowing I had it. I was just buying a DVD on EBAY.! They cancelled my "membership" and refunded two months, and that was it. They would not allow me to complain higher and used plausible denial for their lack of dislaimer or agreement and non-existent confirmation protocol. I was charged $12 per month for several months without my knowledge or permission.

This company is unethical and misleading, and their problem resolution was far from substantive or satisfactory. I will never give any recommendation, but will gladly warn and advise anyone against this company.
