Karl Malone Toyota ripoff Sandy Utah

My wife and I were in need of a new/used car, and we had a friend who bought a car from Stockton to Malone Honda in the Sandy Auto Mall, Utah, so we thought that it might be a good place to go. Big Mistake! The dumba$$ salesman we talked to, Alvaro, told us that with a trade-in on our 97 Saturn, he could get us a good deal on a 2003 Chevy Cavalier with an interest rate of under 10%.

After waiting for several hours to talk to another dumba$$, Shane, in the Finance department, he sat down with us for about three minutes going over the paperwork. We said we needed a few minutes to read over and talk about it. He said, "Are you here to sign papers or not?", like we were wasting his time.

I noticed that the interest rate and the total price of car was higher than what Alvaro had told us, and there were also hidden fees that had not been disclosed before. I pointed this out to Shane and he said, "Well I don't know what Alvaro told you, but this is the best we can do and it's a very good deal."

So, because we needed the car, and I didn't want to waste anymore of their precious time, We signed the papers(another very BIG MISTAKE) and left with a bad taste in our mouth and a piece of crap car.

When I got home, I looked up the blue book value and realized that they had sold me a car for almost 3 times it's actual value, including all of their sales fees and taxes.

After about a year I stopped making payments on the car and had it repossed rather than pay them any more of my hard earned money for a bad car, and even worse sales service representaves. I hope that they all burn in h***!!
