You are right about large mortgage complanies adding large hidden fees to loans to make it impossible to pay off mortgage loans. This has happened to us with our loan with Nationwide Mortgage company. We have not found any government agency that can help yet.

Good luck in trying to fine help for your problem. This has got to be a national problem. Needing help also, Illinois.

I thank everyone for sharing their dealings with Nationstar. I cannot believe the level of greed that this company exhibits. Unless government demands that these companies to be regulated, Americans will continue to loose their homes. 

In may of 2009 i was in forclousure with nationstar. i applyed for making homes affordable, I was told by nationstar to pay them 3000.00 and instead of making my reg note of almost 900.00 per month i would be paying 624.00 for 3 months. well i paid the 3000 and made the payments for 12 months. from august 1009 to august 1010. meanwhile in may of 2010 they removed me from forclosure. Then in August of 2010 i wrote them a letter stating that instead of the 3 months of payment, i had made 12 payments and they needed to redo my loan. well 2 weeks later i recieved a letter form nationstar stating that the vise presedent of the company had rejected me from the program. i was told i had not sent in paper work. as far as the paper work. i sent everthing they ask for and send it 5 times.

I sent all paper work by reg mail, fax,email and over nite with my house note. they recieved the check for my house note but said they had no paper work. I proceeded to call them again in the end of august and talked with one of the managers. when i told him i had send the paper work in 5 times he called me a dam lier...  I have never been so mad in my life. i ask him to put me back into the program and he told me to send him another 3000.00 and pay 700.00 for 3 months and they would see. i prceeded to tell him i would not make another payment till they got everthing strate.

The next thing i new they had me back in forclosure agian. this time i never recieved any paper work form nationstar. this went on till june of 2011. we had been out of town for a week. when we returned home there was a message on phone from a realtor. he told me nationstar had sold house a shierff sale. he stated no one bought it so nationstar took back house and i had to be out by the end of the month.

The next day i saw a lawyer and filed chapter 13. In texas as long as they make a attempt to contact you that is legal. even if you did not recieve it. after checking all the paper work had been sent to a different address. and this is not legal. my lawyer filed the suit and filed suit against nationstar.
Thier lawyers would never return calls until they new nationstar  was being sued. now thier lawyers call ever day. first of this week we had to go to federal court for the credtor meeting. when we arrived my lawyer told me thier lawyers would not persue the case and let me start making payments again. no deals no mods. later that same day she called me and told me thier lawyers had sent her a letter stating they would do a mod and drop my note to a little over 400.00 per month for 2 years and after 2 years pay a 900.00 ballon note and then refinance. and also with 2% interest.
It cost me 3000.00 to hire the lawyer plus expences and all that travel time. i think i hit a nerve with nationstar and now i am trying to find at least 100 people or more to go to lewisville texas and have a legal protest. all carring signs and at the same time im talking to 60 minutes and cnn to see if they will come while we are there. good media would do great things. as far as the making homes affordable. i found out last nite that nationstar takes your 3000.00 then the goverment also gives them 5000.00 for doing it. and in 5 years they give them another 5000.00 to apply to your loan also.
They are making tons of money turning people down. if you take the 3000.00 i give them and add my reduced note to it and divide by 12. well it comes out to be more than your reg note.
they are getting rich kicking people out of thier houses.
Ever sence i have been with nationstar life has been hell. going up on my taxes when in fact they went down. and charging for flood insurance when we dont live in a flood zone. added fees escrows. They have it covered. when i got with them i only owed 44000.00 on my house, i new there woud be a few changes but now i owe 89000.00.
Im sorry i could go on for ever about nationstar, and its not good. i even drove 3.5 hours to thier office in lewisvill texas and sit there all day to talk with them had all my paper work with me, and all i got was... they took me into a small office with no windows and a phone and i sat there about 30 minutes and the phone ring and it was a  person with nationstar. they could not even show enough respect to at least vist with me and look over my paper work.
but now you know my story and if anyone want to protest and be on tv let me know. i think this is whats going to happen in order to have something done. if cnn and 60 minutes do a bit on it i believe the big man obama might listen.

I believe that we all need a class action suit against Nationstar. I was laid off two years ago and had to take a position paying 40% less annually. After exhausting my savings I applied for HAMP program in October 2010. I have been strung along, told that my mortgage would be reduced to 31% of my annual income numerous times and then after 7 months given an amount that no right thinking person would assume I could make based on my net salary versus monthly expenses.

I made them aware that it would not work and was told, by someone stating that they were a manger, that I should make the first payment to buy me some time. This was presented as the best option because they said that Nationstar could foreclose on me within 7 weeks because Georgia foreclosures are fast.

Last week I called and was told to reapply for help and resubmitted the forms stating that my income had changed. Today I spoke to someone who told me that once I made a payment, I was obligated to the terms regardless of way I did it and that a change in my income was not a consideration. My three options from them is to turn it over to them in a manner which saves them the most money. By the way, in the state of Georgia, if you are involved in a conversation, you can tape it. Someone contact regarding a class action law suit, please.

I received a ALT MOD from Nationstar in Sept 2010. They are reneging on the agreement. They lie and try to twist their own documents and words into something that is childish. Then they report my payments as late to the credit bureau. I have been engaged with them for 4 months. They are not trained and are not licensed. They make up remarks in their notes. I have talked to managers etc. They are clueless. I will not back down from them.

I have contacted the attorney general in AZ, FBI, Gabby Giffords office, and the like to help me. They should be put out of business because they engage in a scheme and pattern of deception and extortion. They want more fee income and foreclose. They have solicited me for a deed in lieu. They prey on individuals because they know the people who need a modifcation cannot afford to sue them.

They no longer respond to me because I have their number and they know it. I iwsh some attonrey would file a class action. They did so in the state of Washington. It should be done in AZ. These are criminals.

Nationstar is also my lender.  I am getting the same impression -- THEY WANT to foreclosure.

I have been reading information about mortgage loans and have discovered if the lender does not possess the "original note" they have no legal right to foreclosure and have no claims on the property.

I want to be a part of any class action lawsuit brought against Nationstar.

Mae is a non-profit agency, Nationstar is a for-profit agency. This is
my assumption of why they want to STEAL peoples home and not apply the
