Northstar Alarm Piece of s** company Utah Utah

Months and Months ago I had to call for service on my alarm system due to a fault and 2 false alarms being sent to the Police. The first call they told me to just replace the battey in the affected unit, but when I couldn't figure out how to open it without damaging it I called back and requested a service person come to fix it. Never heard a peep from them and have had to set my alarm in Stay mode to avoid anymore false alarms. Well on Sunday 11/17/13 we had a huge storm move through Michigan and it knocked out our power for 18 hours. When the power resumed, the keypad just keeps running through some sort of a reboot but never finishes, so I called and spoke to customer service and they said it sounds like a power surge fried the keypad and a service person would contact me within 24-48 hours to come and fix the problem. Well here I sit, and after 55 hours or so I never received a call and still have no alarm system yet those f**kers are still going to debit my bank I bet. Well, after reading these other reports I see this is a piece of s**t company and I regret getting involved with them in the first place. If anyone is reading this and thinking about an alarm system DO NOT use Northstar, I would highly recommend ADT, I never had any problems with ADT. And if I did need service they were usually there in a day. 

So now I am sure they will spout off about being under contract and such but they to are under contract to repair my system. They offer a life time warranty. So I am not going to screw around with these jokers for a minute, I will file suit against them for breech of contract and see how fast they decide to forget their contract.
