I Received a letter from sweepstakes clearinghouse saying i have been awarded a consolation prize from a ten million dollar sweepstakes clearinghouse giveaway.
They sent these vouchers, 6 of them, 2 five hundred dollars, 2 four hundred dollar ones, and 2 three hundred dolllar ones.
You are suppose to use the vouchers for a laptop, desktop comp, or luggage set, or diamond watch set, or digital camera, or camcorder. Your suppose to pay the difference, for the laptop the diff is 379.95 and its suppose to come with free internet. For the Camcorder its 149.95 diff, for the desktop comp its 299.95, for the camera its 99.95 diff, for the watch its 69.95, and the luggage is 79.95. They also say you can lay away.
Best i know they have no website, no phone #, and if you add up there address its 666. Thats gotta say something right there. I believe its a scam, best to my knowlege, i have never entered any said ten million dollar contest with them.
I typed in there name and got this website.
Good thing.
Don't get scammed by these people!!!! Don't send them your money!!!!

Sweepstakes Clearinghouse Scam!

AUTHOR: Ramona - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 24, 2010

I just recieved 6 vouchers today in the mail. Boy was I excited when I first got these! One for $500 for a Dell Desktop, another for $500 for a Dell laptop and $400 for a DVC 12 Megapixel Digital Camcorder Package. One for a Freedom Cookware and cuisinart for $400, another for an Xavier Diamond Wristwatch and an Omni2 12 Megapixel Digital Camera Package for $300. I went on their site and they asked me for the voucher numbers. I typed in each one of the voucher numbers and they all came up as an error. Clearly, this is a scam. To think, I almost fell for it, if it wasn't for my boyfriend telling me to check up on it.

Don't listen to Charlotte!!

AUTHOR: Jodi - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, September 15, 2007

If Charlotte is a real customer, then she has SERIOUSLY been fooled! All of the products they're selling are rebuilt and outdated models. Most of the products don't even work, if you receive a product at all. Sweepstakes Clearinghouse approaches you as if you've won a contest, and they award you vouchers worth $400.00 to go towards their product. Example: They're selling a Dell computer for something like $800.99, after you use you $400.00 voucher your left with a balance of $400.99. Not bad for a computer...that's what they want you to think! They know that most people don't know that the computer is extremely outdated, and won't run 90% of the software on shelves today! The actual value of the computer is about $120.00. The so called "Winner" ends up paying 4 times what the product is worth, and excessive shipping and handling costs! In the end they have a useless product! Please read the over 300 complaints here on ROR.

This company was sued by the state of Illinois for their fraudulent practices of claiming people are winners. They are no longer able to do this scam in that state. This company is the most slimeball scam I have ever seen, and I can't believe people like Charlotte defend them. What's up with that?

I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY SO FAR

AUTHOR: Charlotte - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, September 15, 2007

I am a 55 year old disabled woman who only lives on SSI. I ordered the Omni digicam and two other idems as well. I paid off the camera on the 31st of August and received the camera on the 11th of this month. So far I have had no problems at all with this company. I have seen no rip off from them. I have kept a careful watch online on my accounts. They have kept accurant account of my payments as well. I have also contacted them by phone several times as well. People need to understand that ALL companies have problems at times and we as consumers need to not jump the gun, (so to speak), and keep in contact with any company that we order from until we receive the products that we order as I have done.

Once again, I am pleased with the camera that I ordered from them and have had no problems with the company so far. I still have two other products that have been paid off and am waiting for them to arrive. I will keep everyone posted here as to when I receive the other products and if I am satisfied with them.

God bless all,
Charlotte from Virginia
