Amazon Jeff Bezos I never received the clothing I ordered Seattle Washington
*General Comment: Amazon account
*Consumer Comment: This Makes No Sense
I never order from Amazon because I have heard lots of negative things. A family member gave me an Amazon gift card for Christmas. I wish they hadn't done that. Just for the heck of it, I ordered clothing. I was notified via email that the package could not be delivered, and that I would receive a refund. The refund never happened, and this was Christmas of 2022, here it is August 2023. I reached out a couple of times to Amazon to inquire about getting a refund, but I was just given the runaround.
Now, my favorite designer water Mananalu Water is being sold on Amazon. I don't approve. I don't trust Amazon with products I love and endorse. Be very careful using this company.

If you bought with a gift card, the refund will show up as a balance on your Amazon account. Have you checked if it's there? I (and hundreds of millions of others) have never had any issues with Amazon. Their customer service is generally excellent. And I'm not sure why they couldn't deliver your package, but I would suspect it's because you gave them the wrong address.

This story makes no sense. There is nothing for them to send you. The credit would just be refunded to the gift card. In the extremely unlikely event that it wasn’t, you would need to handle it immediately rather than wait a year. And you know Jeff Bezos retired, right? I have ordered tons of items from Amazon, and it is very rare that an item cannot be delivered. And when that does happen, they have always issued a prompt refund. I do have concerns about how Amazon treats its employees, but your description of the consumer experience is completely inaccurate. It sounds like you are trying to use the shipping issue as an excuse to convert the gift card to cash. It doesn’t work that way. You are refunded the same way you paid.
