Clay Cooley of Rockwell, Texas I purchased a 2019 Genesis G90 Ultra from Clay Cooley Hyundai of Rockwell in September of 2019. I was forced to buy a service contract with Ally Premier Protection $1800. Went to contact Ally to inquire about the warranty, they told me that the dealer cancelled the contract in 2020 and received a rebate from Ally. Rockwell Texas

Clay Cooley of Rockwell, Texas I purchased a 2019 Genesis G90 Ultra from Clay Cooley Hyundai of Rockwell in September of 2019. At the time I was forced to buy a service contract with Ally Premier Protection for a 10 year or 100,000 mile Policy for $1800.
When I recently went to contact Ally to inquire about the warranty, they told me that the dealer cancelled the contract in 2020 and received a rebate from Ally. Needless to say this was a complete surprise to me. I have tied to contact Clay Cooley and they keep avoiding me.
I believe their scam is to force people to buy the warranty contract and then cancel and return the funds to the dealer. This also works if the car is sold, so it is a great money making scam for the dealer. This dealer has a terrible reputation and i can now start to see why.
