I Don't Think So....

....he told me that he knows judges and attorneys and he can bribe them, he uses to do that before and after, he said that he is a regular with the judge means he pays monthly some money and the Arlington judge free all kind of people....  What you are describing is corruption by everybody in the judicial system, not just the lawyer.

You have a lawyer on the take, along with the judge, the clerks, the ADA, and all the other officers of the court to keep you out of jail.  Is it possible?  Perhaps.  Do I think it happened?  No.  Why?  Because $20,000 is not nearly enough to pay all of the people needed to keep you out of jail without going to jail themselves.

Now, does he know the judge?  Probably, but so what?  Defense lawyers generally know all of the judges in the Superior Court, and the ADA's.  $20K might be enough to pay the rent on his office, per your own narrative, and nothing for all the bribes you're talking about.

I mean if you are going to be corrupt, why stop at $20,000?  $20,000 is maybe enough to buy you about 40-50 hours of billable time with a defense lawyer.  You spent 2 years in jail for a DUI.  Perhaps you deserved it?
