Columbia House ripoff the business that doesnt give a dam Terre Haute Indiana

Alright I am tired of Columbia House, yes they sent me a Collection notice in all fairness but I called them and told them the truth that I am without a job and I do not have any financial aid, I then made a deal that I paid $20 to my account which is almost half of what I owe, they agreed that they would not report me to a consumer agency and it was all good.

Hours later I receive a email telling that they are pleased to learn the reason of why I haven't paid yet, but the collection procedure will continue.

What the hell is their problem? I had problems before with them going ahead and charging my creditcard without permission, however to those of you who get that I know exactly what to do and I did it.

Do not contact the club to get a refund, contact your credit card company and dispute the charge, you WILL get your money back much faster and in my case Columbia House has not played that stunt on me since.

If anyone else got cheated by them please throw me a email and we will see what we can do about it in unity, I am not standing for this kind of "business" I did not ask to be layed off and I did not ask for their rudeness.

Another perk with Columbia House is that they have people who barely speak English answering their phones, I find that annoying, I was always told that to be in a call center you need to have good communication skills.
