While Looking For Monitors For A Friend, I Came Across A Website That Featured Monitors From A MATTER OF FAX, At A Bit Lower Prices. Well I Saw One That Looked Ok, So I Wanted To See What The Total Charges Would Be, Including Shipping, So I Added To My Shopping Cart And Went To The Check Out Page.

The AD Described The Monitor As A 19" BLACK Flatscreen Monitor, Well When I Got To The Check Out It Displayed A WHITE Monitor, So I Went Back To Verify That It Was The Same Ad I Was Looking At, Mind You I NEVER Finalized The Sale Or Authorized This Item To Be Charged To My Credit Card ANd Didn't Think That It Would Have Been, Seeing As How I Didn't Click BUY. Needless To Say I Found A BLACK Monitor At AMAZON.com And Purchased That One Instead.

Well, One Week Later I Had Already Recieved My Monitor From AMAZON And Then I Recieved The Stupid White One From The Company That Was Selling Them For A MATTER OF FAX.com, And Then I Found Out That They Charged My Card, Causing My Bank Account To Be Over Drawn By $224.65, Which Is Kind Of Funny Because The Monitor I Looked At Was Approximately $165.00, With Free Shipping!, So I Contacted The Company, The Rep. Told Me That They Sold Hardware For A MATTER OF FAX.com, He Gave Me All The Numbers I Needed For A MATTER OF FAX .com.

Well, When I Called A MATTER OF FAX.com, I Told Them The Situation, He (Jason) Then Became Very Rude, Stating That Even If I Went To The Bank And Told Them The Purchase Was Unauthorized, That He Had Paperwork Saying Otherwise And When I Asked To Speak To Someone In A Higher Position He Answered (and i quote) " I Answer To No-One". Now I'm Quite Sure That He Is Not The Only Person In Customer Service, And Even If, By Some Nil Chance He Is, I Don't Think That That Is An Appropriate Response To My Request. He Would Not Give Me The Name Of His Superior And After A Few Minutes Of Me Trying To Figure All This Out He Hung Up On Me. I Called Back And He Hung Up Again.

Needless To Say, My Checking Account Still Has A Freeze On It, To Avoid Any Further Charges The Bank May Have Applied, While I Try To Figure Out A Solution. They Won't Take The Monitor Back, They Refuse To Try And Rectify This Situation, AND They Over Charged Me A-LOT!!!!!! So Now I Have To Try And Sell The Monitor, It's Still In The Box, To Get The Money To Get Myself Out Of Debt.

Anyone Looking For A 19" Flat Screen WHITE Monitor?
