I puchase a AC Delco battery back in June 2010 and by Apil of 2011 I had a acid lak problem, which destroyed my transmission harness wiring. i took it back to the auto part store I purchased it from and they told me they didn't beleive that it was leaking and for me to leave it with them over night so I did. The next went back to the auto part store and was told that the battery did have a leak problem and they would give me a new battery, which was the same type and brand that I had. so tey didn't want to help foot the repair bill for my car and gave me the run around, so I was out of about $2,000.00, now that back in May of this year, now seven months later the same problem has happen again with the battery. The auto part store contacted Ac Delco and turned it over to them, they don't want to accept that something is wrong with their battery, they are insisting that the battery is jumping around and tilting in my car when I'm driving which causes it to leak acid because it's not bolted down. I beleive that's a bunch of bull, I'm not jumping ramps with my car or turning on two wheels when I'm driving.

So Ac Delco rep claims that they aren't responsible for the damage causeD to my transmission AGAIN!!!! But like I told the ac delco rep the first battery leaked and we took it back to the store and it leaked there with them so it's not my car making it leak it's the battery itself. Now I'm stuck again with paying for my auto to be repaired and I don't think it's fair at all. I need help!!!! I need and attorney asap!!!!!!

No my battery doesn't have any holes in,it was checked by the AC Delco rep. and it is secure in the case that it sits in. And even when the auto part tsore had it in their shop trying to charge it, the battery still leaked and it was sitting on a floor.

Odd that you left out a key piece of information.    Is your battery bolted down?

If it's not, you don't have a leg to stand on.    Unsecured batteries will move around during normal driving.   If your battery is unsecured it is very easy for it to chafe against the tray or surrounding parts and wear a hole in the plastic case.    Cars are equipped with battery brackets for a very good reason.
