I'd signed up witn ACN in order to save money on calling my mom who's in a differnt state and also she can see her grandchildrend when we talk. Well, what a nightmare it has been. Their phone STINKS!!! It's sounds like you're underwater. It drops call 90% of the time. It freezes after you hang up, I can't imagine if I had an emergency and can't dial out 911!!! They want me to spend more money buying a router to fix the problem. Well, they should have mention that the quality will suck if you you have the right modem and list modem needed on their sight so we can check before signing up. It only tells you that you have to have internet service at a certain speed. Which we did.

Another thing is the phone does not support fax, and phone card and I did not see that in the terms and conditions as they say it's in. (I signed up on line with the rep. next to me and he didn't tell me either). I tried to cancel and they want to charge me $199 cancellation fee. I'm having BBB see this issue as what ACN is doing and what a bad bussiness practice they are conducting. Don't sign up for their service! You'll get NO SERVICE instead!!!

I went to the ACN seminar wanting to be involve in this new frontier communication system, THE "DONALD" endorsed so much. Well, I'm glad I didn't sign up and waste $499. I don't know how the reps are doing it with them having the phones themselves and they also say it STINKS!!!

As I was writing my complaint, I'd noticed a lot of consumers having the same issues that I have. The customer service does take 40-45 minutes to answer the line. Once they did, they can't really help you much except to say "Sorry, for the inconveniece" NO SOLUTION, "You'll have to wait till the Provisioning department resolve the issue (3 weeks it took). They sound really nice, no one was nasty (except for the one supervisor on duty) no one really did anything either.

The rebuttal that has been coming in mostly addressing the business side of the company, as if you have a vision, you'll love the company.
I don't have a problem with MLM. I don't thinK ACN is a scam with the business side. So the people who are ACN reps., please comment on what the filer is complainting about. That's great that you're all making money for the people who are making money.

I however,think ACN product and services side might be a scam. Meaning,ACN should offer products that actually work and not let the consumer sign up and telling them later, they need this, they need that in order for their product to work. We all work, who has hours at a time to sit there waiting on the phone and trying to fix "their" phone. I was not told before signing up that my current modem has a problem with their phone and needed a special router. They didn't list anything on the website so that I can check. If I knew I had to buy special equipment I might have not signed up and seems like that's what they were preying on. At least that is how it seems like with other unhappy consumers. And the main issue with me is 911 might not work in case of emergency because the phone freezes.

The company should see that this is not the fault of the consumer if ACN failed to provide detail in connection with the phone's operation. As a consumer, I do not sign up so I can cancel. I've been with cell phone company for 7 years and don't have to cancel because their service is great so is the quality of the sound. I signed up with ACN service to save money (as they advertised) and a great service. I did not receive that. So therefore, I should be able to cancel without an early penalty.
