I was sold the Advertiser 360 program by the Vangard Institute. It was a hard sell and the pitch was misleading and deceptive, they represented themselves as an educator and that the program was accredited.
First off, the actual Advertiser 360 program is not bad, poor quality and presentation, looks like they put the whole thing together in a day or two from a computer and Powerpoint but there is what seems like some good info.
PROBLEMS!!! Aside from the mis-representation from the very beginning, as soon as you agree to purchase the program, they slam with you with their coaching program, something you need to "guarantee your success" only a few $K more.
So you sign up for the coaching too. Then you get a hard sell phone call from someone from Advertiser 360 telling you that you have to buy an LLC or corporation from them in order to be doing business legally. Not true, I called my attorney who said that they were out and out lying, you can run any business in the U.S. as an individual. If you do fall for their lie it will cost you about $3K or more. Then someone from Advertiser 360 calls and tells you that you have to buy their tax program, a mere $3K and a monthly fee in order to be in compliance with the IRS and to avoid possibly going to jail. That's right, they literally make you think that you could go to jail if you don't buy their tax keeping program. Another call to the attorney who is now mad that these people are such blatant liars. You guessed, not true. you can do your own taxes or even hire someone locally for probably a lot less than the $3K they are asking from you.
So if you buy into all of these hard sell lies you're at $10K or more now. So you have everything you need to get started? Not quite. Next I got a call from Doba the so called "Advertiser 360 Preferred Drop Shipper". Only $3K for the year with my special discount for the program from them that I need to do the Advertiser 360 educational program that I'd been regretting I'd ever gotten involved with.
All done now? Maybe, I'm pretty sure they are going to call me for something else here eventually but without the phone call upsell, I find out that I've been automatically enrolled in the "Offerbuilder 360" program" to build and host my site, apparently a template style program that I received a 30 day free trial for that no one pointed out and that really did me no good because even if I had known about it, I am just starting out and had not yet gotten to building a site. Cost for this, only $39.95 a month. Mind you, the other hosting services I'd already checked out which also had web site building programs and templates were about $5.95 a month and less.
Try to get a refund for any of this and forget it, they don't bother to email or call back and when you do finally get a hold of them they cite all of these reasons why they don't and won't give you a refund.
All of this un-ethical lying and upselling has put me off and against this whole company and their practices. My advice, DO NOT buy or deal with these people.

Tricky Use of Words, There...Huh, EMPLOYEE???

AUTHOR: beenthere - ()

You're right..."the book doesn't TELL you that you NEED to get this or that...it's the EMPLOYEES of Vanguard Academy (formerly Vanguard Institute) that are the ones that send you to your next "coaches" for you business set up that you must have "in order to be compliant" with your state...and then the Tax entity that tells you, you MUST be IRS compliant and that's what they do...then you attempt to soak people for EVEN more when your "Credit Coach" comes into the picture to try to sucker you out of $6,000 for THEIR "services"!!!  All these businesses are fed by one another!

Daeus Financial, Daeus Business Entity, Your Entity Solutions, Inc., Daeus Tax Services, Strategic Tax Services, Premier Mentoring, Monterey Financial Services, Daeus Business Credit and we can't forget about the wonderful and "fully knowledgeable" coaches from the International Coaches Federation!!!

Original Poster is 100% correct

AUTHOR: vginstscam - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, February 16, 2013

The claims made by the original poster are indeed correct.  This company sells hopes and dreams to mask what the end product really is.  It's advertiser 360 that they sell from ~$3,000-~$19,000 dollars depending on how much money you have on your credit cards.  They never once talk about advertiser 360 in the sale yet that's what was being sold.  This company was affiliated with another company called Enrich Wealth Group which got shut down by the FTC as part of project empty promises.  Many ex EWG employees now work at Vanguard Institute.  This company is a scam and preys on senior citizens.  What they say on the phone and what the customer gets are 2 separate things entirely.  This sale is 100% emotional based and they take advantage to senior citizens ignorance.  Someone needs to do something about these guys.

I have provided links for further proof and complaints.

Non-Rumored Truth

AUTHOR: Vitality - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, December 22, 2012

Honestly, I can see the point this report is trying to make, but let me clarify a couple of things for you.

This book specifically in NO WAY tells you that you "need" to do anything, or "need" to buy anything.  Peter specifically markets his book as an "Informational guide that should no way be used as a manual". Those are the exact words on his book.  It even tells you in the beginning of the book before you would even open it that you should "use this experience that [he has] learned" to your own discretion and should in "no way be considered a get rich quick scheme".

The books and DVD's specifically tell you that they are a compilation of experience and that there are other options of getting help that he also offers (Which is completely legit since he is a marketing consultant now)

I'm currently in a class that requires you to get this book as the class starter book and believe this is totally worth the money I paid.  It's knowledge that you can receive in a simple location that took you maybe 3 weeks to read? It took him 10 years+ to learn.  And he's sitting on millions.

Learn from the best, learn from the worst, and learn from  yourself.  But always build to the future.

The main thing he tries to implement more than any knowledge is what he says at the beginning of the book which I fell in love with being a salesman myself.

"It's the mentality that matters the most... pushing on even when you don't feel like it... find THAT motivation to keep you going"

It is not a rip off, it is not a scam, he did not sell it in an incorrect way at all.  You made assumptions that were totally based off of no facts.

And if your lawyer truly told you that, and you told him the facts... Why is Peter still working?  It's because your lawyer told you that you had no terms of law suit. (IF that statement was ever true.)

Please people, read first.

In response to That....

AUTHOR: Quest for Dollars - (United States of America)

What you are saying here is completely out of context. Anybody who has taken this program from beginning to end is taught and guided through how to achieve quick and long lasting residual results with a unique Internet Business. I work for this company, so anyone reading this can assume my comment is Bias, but I am now and always have been an honest individual. Now, where to start:

First of all, our students invest into the Education and Resources required to make and launch a successful website. They are also taught how to properly market their sites and coached to apply this. Concerning additional costs, NONE are required. We do allow another company to offer help with business liscencing and taxes to those who are new at business and would like somebody to do these things for them. But these are OPTIONAL.

It is amazing to me that you would call my corporation a rip-off when you, yourself have not even gotten your website up to start making money. If you spent your time working with your mentor and launching your site you would likely be on another message board talking about how much you made, instead of here saying what you "lost"

The same cirriculum in Advertiser 360 is currently being taught at Baylor University as part of their Entrepenuer Program, which is the 3rd largest in the world. Now why would they do that if it did not work? hmmmmm....?  People dont let one person who gives up so quick discourage you. I have help many many people change their financial futures for the better. Those who we do work with do well.

Well sir, even you who claims we are such 'bad people'  I encourage you to finish what you started and I will be awaiting your apology and I insist you post it here. It is unethical to try to tarnish a good corporation's reputation without having all the facts or seeing things through. It is unfortunate in your case that you chose this, but again, continue wherever you left off and the proof is in the results you will achieve. I look forward to that day.

I also want to point out that any judgement you make on vanguard or advertiser360 be made from your own experience and CREDIBLE sources. This is a prime example on how it only takes one person with a misconception to bend the truth into an ugly lie. I will be forwarding this post to the company's partners and I'm sure there is something illegal about posting false information and defimation in this way. Good Luck everone. I hope this helps. Dont judge too quickly because you cant believe everything you read online..... with that said, Look at our relationship with Baylor and any of our verifiable testimonials. go to www.vanguardinstitute.net and use your own brain, not that of others
