AFNI Collections Fake Collections Notice bloomington Illinois

My wife received a collection notice from AFNI stating that she owed 127.56 for an unpaid AT&T bill from 2009.  The collection notice even had a settlement offer of 63.87.  My wife called the phone number on the collection notice and they were threating to make this unpaid balance appear on her credit report if she didn't pay over the phone.  Thats when I stepped in and began questioning everything and asked them to give us her at&t account number.  In the end, before I hung up on them, I told them that we do not accept the letter and that we would notify the credit companies.

If you recieve a bill from AFNI, do not pay it!!
