Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
I was surprised the other day when I recieved this collection notice in the mail! I called verizon and they don't have information in regards to our old acct from 10 years ago.
The account was my husband's and we made payment's and paid it off. The number that was listed wasn't even our number and this account is 10 years old. I can't locate our reciept because I felt that after 7 years I wouldn't need this info in regards to my husbands acct. I'm furious because we've worked so hard to improve our credit score. Can someone please help?

AFNI is a joke. They don't care

One day I pulled my credit report to find that AFNI had put a collection on my credit because of an old cable account from 2002. The amount was only $30. But I know in my heart I paid it to the cable company because I couldn't have gotten new cable service when I moved. Now, this $30 collection (which I paid again) will be on my credit report for seven years. I tried to explain to AFNI, but the employee didn't have any information and just wanted me to pay and get the accound closed.
