afni trying to collect $$$ on bogus car accident claim bloomington Illinois

 My son, bumped another car in a parking lot. A small bit of rubber from his bumper left a black mark on an older beat to crap car. He got out asked the woman if there was anything she wanted to do. A policeman was called and the officer said not a police problem... as it was only a  superfical mark.  So no report nothing. There was a picture taken by the passenger in my son's car just in case. Come to find out the car didn't belong to the woman driving it, go figure. It was dented scratched and a mess. Someone looking for $$$$. Months lare we recived a letter from another scam outfit whom we told to go jump in the lake. We now recieved another letter fro afni this month... a rear or so later saying he owes 7,000. !!! funny the firt scammers said 1100.00 now 7000.00 ???? looking them up on rip off reports supports they are scammers. I have advised my son not to pay this . and am contacting the Attorney General in their area as well as ours.
