Air France Air France scams customers charging them twice for ticket! Paris France

On March 3,2014, purchased to full fare tickets of $3800.54 each From Algiers to Tucson. On March 9,2014, called to cancel them. They stated they cancelled them and will refund me back my money since these two tickets are fully refundable. 

On March 7 , I purchased two tickets with a delta agent over the phone for travel on March 9.  When we came to depart Algiers, we used both of the delta tickets. The air france agent at the airport accidentally checked my partner in using the old cancelled air France ticket only for the first leg of her flight Algiers- Paris. However, for the rest of the segments on the roundtrip ticket, they used the delta. On my ticket, they made no errors and used my new delta ticket. 

Months later, I realized air France still has never refunded me my $7600 for the two tickets I cancelled Back in early March. Called them and I hear the same scenario, that my tickets are in the process of being refunded back and I should see it in my bank back to my visa soon. Months have gone , eight months and they still have yet to refund me my money! They claim their refunds department is handled in the uk, not in the usa or France. Is this my fault? Why do we as the consumers have to pay a heavy price with air Frances false promises to consumers? We are now towards end of October and no refund! Called a gazillion times and have gotten nowhere with these bastards. Truly unethical. Thsee b******s with air France will rob you blind and pocket your money and good luck getting it back! 

Had to contact visa and open disputes for the two tickets. Visa reversed my ticket and refunded me back $  3800 for my ticket and for my partners, air France is trying to claim she used the first portion! How dare them, when is called three times back first week of March and they told me they cancelled them and I will be refunded soon. They hold the customers liable for their discrepancies and incompetent employees. If my partner was checked in using the old cancelled ticket for the first portion of her flight and the rest unused! Shouldn't that signal something, plus, why would a customer purchase two tickets ???  

They do not abide by their promises! nor, do they even refund you any tickets you choose to cancel , instead! they feel it's heir right to rob and picket your Money. They are trying to claim the first segment of the ticket was used, when we disproved them and showed them the delta ticket that we had for exact same flight. Not only do they know they are in the wrong for double booking and creating a duplicate booking with their partner delta, with the same passenger name, but even refuse to refund the unused segments of the full dare ticket that costed $3800. They are truly in the business of scamming and defrauding people. This is truly an unethical business. Save yoursekf the headache and hassle from these crooks.
