I called All Florida Window Tinting after seeing the ad on Google on 4/8/13. I got info from Brian Bowie (owner) and told him I would let him know if I decided to go with him. He was the cheapest and promised the same product and lifetime warranty as the major competitors and he would go to the car verses a shop we had to take the car to because he was a mobile company.

Brian called each of the next three days to ask if I was ready to do the job because he had to do it by 4/12 as he would be working out of town that weekend. I called him back and I met him on 4/11/13 at a job he was doing near me to pay for it and give him the info.

Once there I paid him the $150 cash for the job (I wouldn't be present the next day as the tinting was a gift for someone else). I got a receipt from him and he asked me to text him the address and directions to the car which I did at that time as well. He was to remove the old tint and re tint the 4 windows and back window with Carlson Series Film with a lifetime warranty the next day- 4/12/13. I told him he had to go between 9am-4pm and he said no problem. He was very nice, I had no problem and thought he would do a great job. Guess not.

The day of appt. (4/12/13) I called him about 11am and he said he was working on a BMW and it was taking longer than expected but he promised to be over soon. I called around 1:30pm and he said he was actually leaving and was on his way over to the car I wanted tinted. I called at 4pm because he never showed up and he said he never had planned to go over there b/c the weather was bad. But he told me he was on the way a few hours before (?).

He apologized and said he promised to do it the following Tuesday 4/16 and I quote "it will be the very first job on Tuesday morning before any others I promise". He also said "well you don't want me to do a bad job, do you?" "I can't do a good job for you cuz the weathers not good today". But he never said that when I called the first 2x. I agreed to reschedule to Tuesday 4/16. 

Again he never showed up or even called. So I went to his "shop" when I couldn't get a hold of him on the phone. No luck. After many calls/ texts later he text me back "family emergency", "out of town", "Will call to reschedule when I get back".

He didn't reschedule. I couldn't get a hold of him..AGAIN so I left a message that I wanted my money back so I could have someone else do the tint. He became very angry, yelling curse words and said no way and even insisted to know the name of the other company I was using!

After countless calls and texts and trips to his shop he eventually offered to meet me to give me the money back. He would keep telling me "I'll call you back and let you know when and where. But then wouldn't call or answer the phone.  He offered to Western Union the money back on Thursday b/c he was out of town yet again but never did that either! Again text me that he would give it back Friday 4/19. Then called me 4/20 and used very foul language and said he would just say he did the tint and I wouldn't ever see a dime of my money because I wrote a review that he took my money. Which I had not done at that time but I have now since he said he's not giving the money back anyway. Why shouldn't I let people know how he treats customers?
I just want my money back so I never have to deal with this person again. He is definitely not stable. Each time he does call me he taunts me and threatens me. He has some of the worst language I have ever heard. Definitely not professional in any way and not a very nice person at all. I coul not imagine anyone ever acting like this in a business transaction. Unbelievable!

UNBELIEVABLE!! Of course Mr. Bowie would make a fraudulent rebuttal THEN not even show up after he offers it as a resolution in his rebuttal!

 How do I benefit from giving him $150.00 then asking for it back for no reason? That makes no sense. He's trying to make it seem like I'm the crazy one! Everything I stated was absolutely true and he knows it. He's just trying to save face because he has apologized several times then it starts all over. All I ever wanted was to buy a tint package as a birthday gift for my niece (FYI she still hasn't gotten her b-day gift even though her birthday was two weeks ago because Brian Bowie won't give my freaking money back)!

Fortunately I have proof of how he has handled this situation so far because I have the messages and RECORDINGS of his harrassing calls. He said " I don't even care if your recording this or not" in one of them. In the voicemails, texts, and recordings he is cursing, yelling, AND threatening me. He at one point said "I can be a real D***head if I want because I know where you live!" How is that not threatening as he claims?? And after this I'm seriously considering posting those recordings as proof.

As far as the offer to return my money he mentioned in his rebuttal--

He called me last Sunday 4/21/13 about 6pm cursing, yelling,etc. until I had to hang up on him(all recorded). Then called back and when I did not answer he left a voicemail to meet him at his shop in Davie on Wednesday 4/24/13 (saved that too) to get my refund because as he stated "I'm not a thief". HOWEVER, I waited at his shop YESTERDAY, Wednesday 4/24/13, from 2:55pm until 3:30pm and he did NOT show up. What a surprise!! I text/called him at 3:15 and again at 3:30 while I was there to no avail. Of course there is a record of this on my phone as well. We all know how cell phones work.

As of this moment I have still not gotten a return call or response from him!! I even took pictures of his shop with my phone with the date/time stamp to prove I was there all that time so he couldn't say I wasn't there. But he still did not show up to give me my money back!! WHY DIDN'T YOU SHOW UP THIS TIME, BRIAN?? What do I have to do?? You set up the time and place then STILL didn't show! What's the problem?

I'm very disapointed because I had hoped this awful nightmare would be over after yesterday AND my niece would finally get her birthday gift...But I guess not. I don't know what Mr. Bowie is getting out of not giving me my $150. I was a customer that went to him in good faith and had even told several friends the day I paid him that I found a great mobile tint guy they should call for their cars. I gave them his number, too!  Obviously now they all know what's going on but had he just handled this professionally everyone would have been happy and he would have gotten at least three more customers from me. What do you say to this Brian..Can I just get my money back?? That's all I want. This whole thing is aggravating for me and my family and bad for your business so why not just give my money back and get it over with?

Our company policy is to get paid only after the work is complete and the customer is satisfied but in this case I was paid up front because the tint installation was a gift and the person receiving the gift wanted mobile window tinting while at work.

The first two appointments were canceled because it was raining and there was no cover at the clients job to install the tint. I suggested each time that the client bring the car to my shop in Davie so I could install the film regardless of the weather but she refused. The third appointment was canceled due to a family emergency that had me out of town for one day and when I called to re-schedule the appointment for the following day the customer asked for a refund.

I agreed to give the customer her money back but since I was out of town I could not get the money back to her until the next day. The customer than became loud and irate with me and accused me of trying to rip her off but I still told her I would give her money back. The next day she started writing reviews like this one without giving me a reasonable amount of time to give her a refund or perform the installation (I can not control the weather and I did offer a solution to the problem).

I called her to arrange to meet to refund her money and hopefully talk her out of writing anymore negative reviews but SHE became vulgar on the phone and refuses to meet with me because she says she was scared of me because she claims I threatened her. I was never unprofessional in my phone conversations and I hope to resolve this matter quickly to avoid anymore damage done to my companys reputation.
