Allegro Law, LLC was supposed to consolidate my date. Ther have been receiving monthly payments from me since March 2008. Now I have just found out that the Allegro is not legit. I tried faxing documents t Huntington, New York

I had signed a contract for Allegro Law in order to get rid of my debt on March 19, 2008. I was told by Allegro Law that the debt consolidation process would take 3 years of monthly payments of $202.00 and the money would placed in an escrow account and later paid off to the creditors. Allegro Law told me that if I received any paper work from my old credit card companies or any creditors to send or fax those documents to them to help with the settlement of my case.
Allegro Law provided me with a case number, so that when I contacted them through their customer service, they could easily pull up my account information.

On March 23, 2010, I tried faxing creditor documents to Allegro Law as usual and the fax number was busy. I called Allegro Law's customer service and they stated that their fax machine was working properly and that maybe I should check my fax machine. (The thing was that, I was using a fax machine at a local Staples store and I've never had problems with their equipment.) So I tried faxing the documents again on April 2, 2010 and Allegro Law's fax number was busy. Then  I tried calling Allegro Law's customer service again and now it was stating, "we are currently experiencing technical difficulties" and then it would disconnect. I have been calling every few hours each day since then and it Allegro Law's number is saying the same thing.
So I went searching online to see if their were any strange news reports on Allegro Law and I found this website and a few others.
