Most site supervisors with this company WHEN I WORKED THERE were hired because of their ability to backstab and get rid of any office on the site with enough intelligence and ability to possibly challenge their job.

Also, people like this tend to keep the screw ups so they will be able to write them up and get them canned -- like money in the bank when the client eventually complains.
So it is a win-win situation for the site supervisor.

The ONLY thing you have to know to be an Allied Barton site supervisor is to have a reptilian thought process and be a great backstabber of your security guards.


They get rid of the people who might take their job and keep around plenty of screwup they can get rid of to show that they are doing their job.

Allied was a headhunter company. That means as many people that the site supervisor could set up and fire ( especially if you were female and/or a visible minority because their ideal ideal employee was a white young male who looked like an n**i SS Recruitment poster) BEFORE THEIR PROBATION PERIOD HAD EXPIRED the better the company liked it. They did NOT want to give raises and they sure as hell did not want their guards having any benefits --even if the client was willing to pay for it. In my case, we were supposed to have been paid double time for one client we worked for and ended up only getting time and a half. If the client wanted anyone to have a bonus, or shift differential pay, etc. we only got straight time.

THEY LIE ABOUT YOU WHEN IT COMES TO YOU APPLYING FOR UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE.

THEY GIVE YOU JOB REFERENCES FROM HELL THAT ARE 100 PERCENT LIES.

Sadly, they can get away with just paying you minimum wage when you quit without notice because it was in the employment contract you signed,but you might want to check with your state employment commission to make sure. Allied is headquartered in Pennsylvania and they tend to ignore employment rules and regulations of the many states where they have their operations.

I realise that a lot depends on the individual local managers but since they are acting with presumed authority of Allied Barton, then I will have to hold Allied Barton accountable for their behavior.
