Allied Interstate Gave Information as to what was owed to a thrird party refused to provide detailed info as to what was owed Buffalo New York

My father advised that this company had been calling for a couple of days. He called me last night and told me that they has called him three times yesterday and one of the times they gave him the amount owed which was like 67.73.

When I called the number he gave I advised the lady that they had been calling my father and I wanted his number taken off immediately. My father is in ill health and he worries about our finances anyway. He just a worrier. I then told her that her company had given out information to a thrid party and that it was illegal. She told me that she did not. When I told her yes she did she then told me that it was someone else and not her. I explained that I was talking about the company in general.

This lady was very rude. I then asked her what this bill was for and she advised a book club, when I told her that I did not order any books she got very smart***** with me and said well they were ordered from your address over 2 years ago, I then advised her that we had not owned this house2 years ago and she then backed up saying that no it was less then 2 years ago. I then asked to speak to a manager...

When I spoke to the manager I told her that they had broke a law giving out informaiton to a third party, she actually told me that my father had offered to pay the bill so that's why they gave him the information...I told her that I don't care if the pope called to pay my bill it was still illegal..

I called them several times today to try to get the information for their corporate headquarters and they refused to give it to me, not even a phone number. They even refused to give me their mailing address...REFUSED.
