I do not know why there is no charge against amazon.com.
They held my account few weeks after I registered. The reason is I sold so quickly. Actually, I just sold few items. I sent them all the shipping proof and after a month, they give me back my account and released my funds.
After several months, they sent me email that my account is blocked for secret reason and my money cannot be withdrawn in 90days. I sent them an email; they told me they will not talk with me anymore. What is going on here?
They freeze my account right after my balance hit top. I have 2000$ frozen by Amazon. No buyer filed any complaint of their purchase from me.
Amazon charges about 20% commission fee for video games and books. I do not know why people are willing to take it. They gain more than seller gain.
They just sitting there with superior right getting huge profit. Their A-Z guarantee program says, if buyer filed that complaint, buyer doesn't have to return the product to seller and still get the refund. So if you want to make money, go ahead buy stuff from sellers and file a A-Z complaint, you will be paid. No proof no action needed.
Buying Amazon.com is not bad. They did have excellent customer service. However, selling at Amazon, you become criminal. If you do not trust me, call their seller department; see how they will talk to you. You will be screwed.
How a company acts so differently like that? Are they running by the same company? People like to sell at Amazon because their good reputation, but
a famous company cannot treat sellers like that. We are not your competitors. At least you earned a lot of commission from us. I know usually our stuff are selling cheaper than you but that is the only way we can survive.
Sellers should get together to handle this situation. No company can control the world.

eBay and PayPal are the same way, they cater to the buyers and not the sellers. But heres why. eBay and Amazon are running a business, their product is basically the traffic that they produce, their customer is the seller. Sellers want customers to buy their product, eBay and Amazon provide these customers. The seller AGREES to abide by their policy when selling to THEIR buyers, if you don't like it, you don't have to sell. They cater to the buyers so that they will return, and hopefully attract new buyers, causing more sellers to fork out cash. My main point is that these companies cannot afford to cater to both sides. Sad but true.

-You agreed to GIVE them 20% of what you make off of the sale. Is this their fault or yours?
