American Careers is Upfront with Consumers and here to help!!!

AUTHOR: Yvonne Foxworth - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, November 11, 2014

OK folks; please let me try to shed a little light on this thread.

First off, my name is Yvonne Foxworth. I'm a Career Counselor at American Careers (NYC offices).  For the doubters out there, I must say sorry for any confusion or misconceptions about us, but we certainly are NOT a scam. I've been here for many years. Indeed, I'm very happy with the results I have personally obtained from the many Applicants I've assisted to gain employment at various airports/airlines across the USA. Success stories with many different types of Positions, at varying pay rates, anywhere from $14 to $22 / hour.

Regarding our Service, we simply assist Applicants obtain employment through the information that we email/mail them to get them started with the Application Process. We then follow up with phone support via our Career Counselors to assist them in every aspect of the Application Process (Application, Resume, Cover Letters, Thank You Letters, Interviewing Techniques, etc) through our Airline Career Development Guide & our Airline Hiring Update, which includes current listings of Airline Positions & descriptions which the Applicant may then apply for at various Airlines. We will attempt to obtain as many interviews for the Applicant as we possibly can. The $39 one-time fee we charge is refundable in the event we are unable to obtain employment
for the Applicant.  Details are included in the paperwork the Applicant receives.  This is a vast amount of information & assistance which could potentially require many hours to perform individually. Please visit our website: http://www.AmericanCareers.us

We have many success stories here with regard to Applicants who have taken the time & effort to read / follow the instructions listed in our Program, and have indeed obtained employment at various Airports across the USA. Obtaining employment takes time and effort. If Applicants are not willing to follow instructions or contact us for help, we can't possibly assist in those efforts. I will gladly personally assist anyone out there in their efforts to obtain employment.  Please feel free to visit our website and view some of our success stories:

Sincerely,

Yvonne Foxworth

American Careers

I would like to start off by saying that American Careers was a great find for me personally.  There are those trash talkers out there that have no clue of the services that American Careers offers.  They don't follow directions and then complain because they don't get results.  Listen people, if you want to lay on your butt and have someone do eveything for you.  This is not the place that you want to use to assist your in meeting your career goals.  If you are willing to put forth some effort as I did I can say that you more than likely will obtain employment.  I say more than likely, because I can't speak for quitters and lazy people who think that after one interview they should have employment.  The real world just doesn't work that way!  You have to take time and practice, if at first you don't succeed then try again.  Allot of people have lost that mentality this day in age and feel that if they can buy it or if it can be handed to them then it is ok, but if they have to work.  Oh goodness no, that won't work, it can't work.  I wouldn't want to pick up my phone and call or find out the steps that I need to take to be gainfully employed.  Here is a clue, First read your guide that Yvonne Foxworth sent you.  If you didn't get one here is a clue...call American Careers.  After you read your guide call American Careers and get in touch with your career counselor.  They are there to help you.  You have to ask for the assistance and want the assistance.  Best of luck to you.

BTW:  The number that you want to call is 718-690-7056.

Wishing you the best of luck.  I suggest calling your career counselor, they truly can help you!!

Try Following Directions???

AUTHOR: Ashantae' - ()

POSTED: Saturday, August 23, 2014

As a happy customer of American Careers, I can tell you that you were told everything upfront.  The final words on their hotline is "Please visit our website www.americancareers.us do you think that they are asking you to visit for any reason other than further information on their company.  You are pissed off and posting on here because you didn't do your due dillagence and read.  I love people like that.  I eat them for dinner, which is the reason that I am employed and you are on here complaining.  You know, if you would take the time to call American Careers they will still help you.  I have found other lost souls complaining and reached out to them as well.  Oh yeah, and you don't waste you money if you read and follow directions, one of two things happen...you read you call American Careers, you get assistance, and you apply for airline postions with their guidance and assistance.  OR you sit there and whine about losing $39....OR you go and flop your interviews and you call and ask for a refund.  Simple as that.  Giselle, I have seen your posts everywhere.  All of us that read know what you have been posting everywhere, it doesn't take a rocket scientist.  Some of us would like extra help and guideance, something that applying directly to the airlines doesn't offer.  Yes, I could have spent days or weeks looking for the information that I got and used.  Its individual choices.  I choose to read, I choose to follow directions, I choose to get assistance from the career counselors.  What can I say.  Ask and you will get the help, don't and you will be stuck right where you started.  Bottom line, everything is disclosed.  PERIOD.

God Bless Yall

American Careers will help you!!!!!

AUTHOR: Candy - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, August 05, 2014

If you applied in October 2013, why haven't you called 718-690-7056.  The staff would have been more than happy to help you to find out why you didn't get any information.  Try alling them, I am sure that they would still be more than happy to work with you.  I waited months before calling them back and they were still more than willing to help me.   They also have a website to contact them www.americancareers.us

My suggestion is to call them.  They are a helpful company.  I know because I have used their services.  They provide much more than just a package of information that you can find on your own.  They provide assistance.

These people are NOT affliaited with any airline or airport. They are not even a staffing agency and they cannot offer or get you a job.

If you want a job with a particular aiport or airline, you need to apply directly.

These people are simply selling information about the job process that is available FREE online.  Sorry you wasted your money.
