*Consumer Comment: Always a (fake) sob story with these type people
a Pitiful door to door salesman appeared at my office selling subscriptions! He said he had torrets syndrome. He sold me and my assistant several subscriptions. I later checked his prices and they were above retail prices. We never received the subscriptions. We attempted to contact the company but could never receive an answer or any response to my letters. This company is an obvious rip off. I would never buy aything like this again unless I do a google search ! Adrian White, 1908 euclid avenue, bristol, va 24201

Any time you have a door to door magazine salesperson at your door, you are going to hear some creative story that is intended to pull at your heart strings. For example: they are a recovering addict, they have breast cancer, tourettes syndrome, they are trying to earn money for college, they are trying to win a trip, they are a single parent and need $ to buy groceries for their starving handicapped children at home, your neighbors all bought mags so won't you please as well, etc. The list goes on. NEVER NEVER NEVER buy anything from anyone at your door, unless you recognize it's little Sara Sue with girl scout cookies. With magazines sales, the price will always be higher than what you can normally pay for it and there is a BIG chance you will never get what you ordered. There is a website called magcrew that offers insight on how these crews work. You can also spend a hour day reading stories from others here at this site alone. Again, don't buy anything from strangers at your door because 99% of the time, you are going to regret it.
