A previous response to a consumer complaint about American Financial Concepts (LLC) stated that AFC had settled complaints with their local Better Business Bureau. If you look at the BBB site covering Garland Texas, yoou will find that AFC is not an acredited member and that the BBB has rated the business an 'F'. See the BBB for details. The two previous responses have indicated that American Financial has a F rating with the BBB simply do to there location in Dallas, and that any and all debt settlement company's and law firms have a similar problem. This is quite untrue I have looked up various reputable law firms for the same area, and while they might not be accredited in the area due to their nation wide status, they still have A ratings with the local BBB.

The BBB in Dallas gives all debt settlement company bad ratings, making it almost impossible to distinguish good companies from bad. We have only 21 complaints and processed over 5,000 clients and we have zero unresolved complaints. As this person stated, I would encourage anyone thinking of using AFC or the debt settlement program to resolve their debts to do their research first because it may not the correct option for everyone to resolve their debt burdens.
