Andrew Fike - Sun n Fun Above Ground Pool Installation Stole $2,000 Tampa Florida

On 6-9-2013 I contracted with Andrew Fike to purchase and Install an above ground pool for me in Tampa. He took $2,000 for this service.

I told him immediately that I must have a permit on this property as Florida law requires a permit 100% of the time. I was so concerned that we added a clause on the contract that said if a permit was not granted for whatever reason I would get a 100% refund. He told me it would be no problem and signed the addendum

A couple of weeks later he notified me that he couldn't obtain a permit. He also tried to send me an unlicensed electrician to do work on the electrical part and I turned him away as I wasn't doing anything without a permit.

His contract's cancellation policy says the following - If the client wishes to cancel this contract, the client will be required to pay for any work described in this contract that has been completed thus far.

I asked to cancel and get a refund as he was not able to get the permit and I didn't want an unlicensed person working on my house.

Andrew Fike has not refunded my money
