This irresponsible company totally ruined two very expensive carpets in a condo that I manage. They were supposed to clean them after a water flood, but, instead, Angel Restoration severly damaged them to the point that they needed to be replaced.  The cost of these imported 100% imported wool carpets is over $6,000.  After three months of complaints, the company has only lied, stonewalled and given absurd explanations to avoid their responsability.

Whether you are a home owner, a property manager or a Strata corporation stay away from Angel Restoration. They present themselves as disaster clean up specialists and are hired by Strata's for emergency repairs for water damage.

Hello, Mr. McLeod, President of Angel Restoration and Paul Davis Systems.  Please quit lying.  Your companies are not even members of the Better Business Bureau. Its funny that you invoke it.

If your company didn't do anything wrong to those carpets, why do you keep talking about an amicable solution? Your arguments are so inconsistent and dishonest.

By the way, I am not seeking a solution or asking for anything. I am just sharing my story with consumers so they will steer clear of your irresponsible company. Angel Restorarion's incompetence already caused $6,000 in damages.

I also want to save people precious time. Angel Restoration's dishonest stalling tactics, spins and lies are among the worst I have ever encountered in any industry.

Yelp and other review websites show that going back as far as 2007 your company has ruined people's carpets and ripped people's money off.  Obviously I'm not the first customer to complain.

You are saying in your rebuttal that the building issued a report "clearing" your company. That's another lie. Show proof of the report and upload it here if it exists.

I have my own photographic evidence, time stamped showing that your company damaged both carpets and made them worst instead of cleaning them. This flatly contradicts your company's spins. I will upload the proof and let the viewers be the judge.

As a Property Manager with several years of experience in the industry I strongly advise consumers to stay away from Angel Restoration in Vancouver, Canada.

Cesia Quintero(Property Manager, Exclusive Property Rentals), if you have such a strong case for why you feel the carpet damage is a result of error on our part, we would advise you to go through the proper channels of professional mediation, either through the Better Business Bureau, Small Claims court or similar channel. Your choice of taking to the internet is not going to facilitate an amicable solution.

In our defense, the carpets were not ruined due to Angel Restoration’s restoration procedures. The water damage was a clean water break. Our technicians wear booties when inside customers homes. Our extraction tool is made out of acrylic plastic. Our drying equipment, specifically our air movers and dehumidifiers are non-marking. All we did in the areas of concern, was extract the carpet and set up drying equipment. None of the procedures or equipment that we used, would have caused this type of damage to the carpets.

Your client’s carpets were damaged prior to the water loss. We have shared with you, the date stamped pictures of the damage to the carpet prior to commencement of drying. There were notable bleach stains from prior cleaning products, and holes cut in the closet to patch previous damage in the open area. These were both visible in the date stamped photos we shared with you and your client.

In addition, the building management company did an investigation and came to the conclusion that your client was not entitled to new carpet due to the amount of previous damage. The flooring company that performed the work in this unit also corroborated the same conclusion as the building management company.

If this was something that was indeed a result of a technician error or a mistake on our part, we would be more than happy to own our mistake and make it right. In this situation, that is not the case.

Just because you say you are right does not make you right. Just because you do not want to acknowledge date stamped evidence, does not make you are right. In order for us to take you seriously, we ask you to cease your internet blackmail and file a proper complaint with the BBB or file a claim with the BC Small Claims Court. Once again, your choice of taking to the internet is not going to facilitate an amicable solution.
