For three years AP9 Connections has been charging me $18.95 each month, until I finally caught it on my statement and called them. They cancelled my membership but after speaking to someone, I found out they have been charging me for over three years without me knowing or ever signing up for anything. They said that I entered information while on a Travelocity website which gave me a free trial but eventually I was charged. All that I can surmise is that they got my credit card info from Travelocity. I argued with them for a bit but got nowhere (two month refund) so I called my credit card company (Chase Visa) and they told me there was basically nothing that they could do and that I should find out from 'Connections' how they got my info. I called again and spoke to a supervisor named Diane. She told me I would have to write to consumer affairs in order to find out the specifics. She tried to explain to me that they never had my credit card info and that they billed Travelocity and Travelocity billed me, however this is not true, and that their name was the one on my credit card statement. I even told her that there are 73 entries for their "company" on ripoffreport.com and I asked her if she felt she was working at a legitimate company and she said yes. I asked her why then, are they stealing from so many people and again she referred me to consumer affairs.

This company is a total scam and by the time you read this, you most likely have already lost money to them and it's too late. I am not giving up on this but I welcome any suggestion or success stories. They took over $700 from me, and I won't take this lying down. My next step is to write to their consumer affairs in Omaha, and then to contact Travelocity...and to go from there. It sounds like their operation just skates under the radar and technically may be legal (because they do offer a service, technically), however, the way in which they obtained my credit card number may not be legal...so I have a feeling I'm in for a long ride.
