A couple of weeks ago, I ordered an Ab Rocket 30 day-trial for $14.95 with intention to purchase if the product works as tv advertisement. My issue is not the product however, the issue is that the company charged me extra $9.24 for sales tax in CA. I was told that there is no sales tax in CA for that particular product. Even their customer service number 1-800-647-2290 has a product information indicates that NY, NJ, NV, and CT are included sales taxes. I guess that many people assume that there will be a sales tax in any product purchase and not pay attention to extra charge without knowing some states are excluded. However, I called the company and disputed their extra charge, the customer service told me that there is a notice on TV about the sales tax including CA. (Frankly, I didn't see that.) If so, their notification for sales taxes show two different inforamtion; one on TV and on their telephone message. In addition, the particular sales person was very rude on the phone and she kept on saying there is notice on TV. I first asked her to listen to her company's message about the product information. In it, it explains sales tax involved in NY, NJ, NV, and CT. I'm willing to pay sales tax if my state is included in their advertisement for the product I ordered. But it was not the case and they charged me extra money anywway. Be aware of extra charges when you order a product from this company.
