Asset Acceptance LLC trying to rip me off for a debt that was paid in 1988! Late fees and interest of $720 ?!?Phoenix Arizona

Ordered copies of Experian, TransUnion and Equifax credit reports. Found a "Derogatory" entry from a 1988 revolving account that I know was paid off in Sept. 1988.

I called Asset Acceptance and they stated that there was a final finance charge of $46.06 that was never paid. I never received a bill for that and they claim they sent bills to an address that I moved out of in early 1989. I have always been maticulous about filing forwarding addresses with the U.S. Postal Service and yet I have never received anything from Asset Acceptance or the credit card company they are representing.

Asset Acceptance has been piling on finance charges and late fees since 1988 and claim that I now owe them $720.00 !!!! That is outrageous!!!!
