I was promised the moon by my rep and blatantly lied to about the contract terms during preliminary negotiations. These calls were all supposedly recorded so I thought I was being told the truth.

They use a voice verification system to lock you into a contract in a hurried manner then leave you to find the undisclosed details in a paper copy that I never received. These points in the contract were never discussed or brought up during voice verification but I would never have agreed to the terms had I known.

All they want to do is keep saying "listen to the voice verification, you understood the contract and agreed" although 80% of the contract terms are not disclosed until you receive the paper copy later in the mail which of course I have yet to receive. I had to find a generic copy posted on their website to find what I was missing.

There is a "deadline" for cancellation and changes written into the contract that was not disclosed during voice verification and when I asked for the information I needed to cancel from my rep well before that deadline he strung me along and ignored me until after that deadline which I did not know about as previously explained. I have all the email correspondence to prove my claims.

Now that these previous recorded conversations are relevant they can not "locate" them. How convenient.

Their advertising is overpriced and has yet to perform as indicated and expected. Hundreds of dollars a month I have to scramble to find to pay their monthly bill although changes to the advertising take a month and support from my rep has been and is now non-existent since I have made it clear I want to cancel.

This is a huge scam and needs to be investigated by someone with the power and authority to deal with a giant like AT&T. I know as a small business owner I do not have near the resources to fight their threats and guerilla warfare tactics.

My particular rep was fond of saying, "I'm an honest guy." and "You know I'm not lieing because all these calls are being recorded." which turns out were all LIES!!!

Unscrupulous, immoral, bait and switch tactics to lock you into some quickie partial voice verified contract that does not near cover all the contract terms.
