My TV, DVD and home theater system was damaged by faulty AT&T U-verse equipment. I switched my service to AT&T U-verse because the company claimed to have better pricing, cable TV and internet service. And it has turned out not to be true. The AT&T U-verse service started in June 06 and since then I have had at least 14 repair technicians at my home due to faulty equipment and poor cable and internet service. In October 09, a repair technician was sent out because my service went out again. The repairtechnician said the AT&T D V R Box was bad and he installed a new one and and tested this box and stated that it had an electric feed back a loud humming noise so he installed a device called an isobar to fix this problem. On 6/18/10, my service went out again. A repair technician came to my home on 6/19/10 to fix this problem but he could not get my TV, DVD and home theater system to come back on. The repair technician spoke with a U-verse customer repair technician and reported that he heard a sizzling sound coming from the isobar that was installed in October 09. The U-verse customer repair technician gave me a property damage claim number. An hour after the repair technician left, the service went out again. On 6/20/10, third day without service, a technician arrived to fix the problem with the service. The service went out again and a technician was out on 6/21/10. Later, an AT&T representative came out to access the damage to my property and took the Isobar device. Since then, everyday I have contacted AT&T, the executive office and Sedgwick Claims and they refuse to resolve this matter and have my property fixed or replaced.

Are the electrical outlets used for all of the U-verse equipment grounded, and properly wired? I've heard of issues with a lack of ground, and also a reversal of the hot wire causing issues with equipment and even in extreme cases causing fires.
Is this possibility ruled out?
A tester will indicate weather a outlet is grounded properly:

do a search for "at&t political contributions" in your favorite search engine, you may see that AT&T contributes to both Republicans & Democrats.
As for the original report, would you at all be willing to share the year the house was built? I may have a lead as to the cause of your problem.
Thanks.
