We took my Mustang and my Mercedes  to the Audio Express on Gilbert and Southern to have my stereo system (that I had previously purchased and had installed at this same location about a year ago in my Mustang) taken out of my Mustang (which I was selling) and installed into my newly boughtMercedes. After talking to Mike (sales guy) we decided that the stereo I had in my Mustang was not going to work in the Mercedes so we decided to go with a Pioneer touchscreen stereo and I also had to purchase new speakers for all 4 doors.

So,to re-cap they were going to take out everything they had installed in my Mustang previously which was the stereo, 2 Amps, and a box with a subwoofer and then install a new touchscreen stereo, new Boston speakers, my 2 amps, and my box with the subwoofer into my Mercedes. We waited for them to remove everything from the mustang and install a cd stereo that we had sitting at home and then we went home to wait because they said it would take them all day to install everything into the Mercedes.

They called us about 30 minutes after they had closed for the day and said it was ready and we could pick it up. We went to pick up the Mercedes and everything seemed fine. When I left, I noticed at the intersection just outside of the Audio Express that the SRS light was on. This light was not on before any of the work was performed by them and they knew that. I called them to let them know about this light being on but they did not answer so I decided I'd call them the next day. I did that and was told just to bring it it and they would take care of it.

We went back and Mike (the sales guy) and the installer just looked in at the dashboard just to see that the light was truly on and then Mike told us that he would call the Mercedes dealer and see if they could give them any suggestions on what to do to get that light turned off. He also said he would call us the next day and let us know what they told him. Nevertheless, we never got that call back.

We called several times trying to reach Mike but were never successful. We finally did talk to the sales manager (can't recall his name) and he told us just to bring it in and they would take care of it. We took it in that night and they tried to get that light turned off but were not successful.

The sales manager told us to take it to the Mercedes dealer and that Audio Express would pay for the charges incurred.
After taking it to the dealer and sitting there most of my day waiting for them to fix it I was told by the service man at the dealer that this broken rear  seat belt buckle connector was caused when they installed the speakers in the door panel. He said that if anyone at Audio Express wanted to talk to him so that he could verify that they did break this connector when installing the speakers, he would be happy to talk to them and he gave me his card. I paid $413.43. We went back to Audio Express again and showed the sales manager the receipt for the damage that they had done and he went and got the store manager Kurt Joiner.

After about 15 minutes Kurt Joiner came up to me and pointed at the receipt and said "what's this?" I said this is the receipt for the damage your installer did and your sales manager told me to go to the dealer to get it fixed and you guys would pay for it. Well, this turned into a shouting match after about 5 minutes and ended up with Kurt being very unprofessional and denying any wrong doing on their part. He also said that Mike and the installer both told him that the SRS light was on before they ever even touched it. I was appalled and disgusted and very , very upset. They flat out lied just to get out of paying for something that they broke and promised me they would take care of and then just totally backed out of it.

All I was told was to go their website and write a letter to the Vice President and see if there was something he could do. I did send and email but there is not an email address where you could specifically send it to the V.P. I have not got a respons back yet and that was on 4/29/11. I trusted these people to do a good job. I have purchased quite a few different items at this Audio Express in the past and I have spent quite a bit of money there only to be treated like that. I felt extremely betrayed. I will never go back there again and encourage other people to take their services elsewhere too.
