Avis Rent A Car I was attacked by a guard at avis, avis doesn't put safety first, Milwaukee Wisconsin

I was attacked by a violent security guard at Avis Rent A Car who should not have been allowed to come in contact with customers. I've rented cars from Avis Rent A Car for years, either personally or during business projects. I asked the Avis Rent A Car guard on approximately 3-17-07 for a form, that guards always give at the check out point.


This guard refused to give me the form, she stated that it was already done with the previous customer. This process normally takes about 2 minutes of the guards time. Most customers know when renting vehicles, you must get the Avis form for your own records, proving any damage noticed prior to removing the vehicle for rental. I explained to the guard why I had to have the form, she instead finally took my contract while I was sitting down in the car, and wrote the info on the contract.

I passed the contract back to her through the driver's side window, and asked that she sign and date it (I'm thinking otherwise how would Avis know if the guard wrote the note or if I wrote the note).

The 2nd time the Avis security guard passed the contract to me, as I held my hand out of the window to retrieve it, the guard made a crazy loud sound grabbed my fingers and hand and yanked my arm backwards as if she was trying to break my arm.

I contacted Avis management by phone a few minutes later, immediately the manager stated she knew who I was talking about, because this guard had so many prior complaints. The manager asked if I could write a letter because most customers just call and complain.

I wrote the letter immediately faxed it in, and filled out an incident report, one month later, I called to see if the VIOLENT GUARD was still allowed to work their, and the manager stated yes, she IS STILL allowed to work their.

After speaking with the cops and sherriffs office several days after the incident, I filed a police report. I also contacted Avis corporate customer service and informed them of the incident. The public never has to wonder why we have violent crimes that escalate to shooting and killings as long as we have companies like Avis Rent A Car.

Any company that would utitlize dangerous and violent employees or contractors and allow them to interact with the unsuspecting public couldn't possibly put the publics safety first. We will continue to have MAJOR PUBLIC SAFETY ISSUES BROUGHT ON BY COMPANIES LIKE THEM.

This incident happened at the Milwaukee, Airport, if I had got out of the car and walked in to report the incident, I don't know if this guard would have shot me in the back or ran me over with the car with her crazed mentallity. So it was smart when I think back that I drove off and called a few minutes later after some of the initial shock from the situation wore off.
