I ordered a 3 piece Dalani baby set from BabyAge.com. When I purchased from them, the expected delivery date was 1 week away. I saved that notification on the website for reference(and glad I did). After the furniture did not show, I called BabyAge for information. The customer service representative was argumentative and curt. They couldn't tell me "if" is had shipped, when it "might" ship, or when they "could" tell me if it would ship. I went online and did a little more poking around, and sure enough, there are TONS of people complaining about BabyAge's delivery practices. (Don't take my word for it, do some searching). So I filed a BBB complaint.

Three days later, I receive an email from BabyAge telling me that the furniture was back ordered for another 2 1/2 weeks. (That would be 3 1/2 weeks from order date until "supposed" ship date.) I called within an hour of receiving this email from BabyAge to cancel my order. They informed me that they couldn't cancel the order until they confirmed with the manufacturer that it hadn't shipped.

Today, five days later(2 weeks after order date), they still haven't "confirmed" that it hadn't shipped yet. What's worse is that they responded to the BBB complaint with false information and dates. I did not accept their response with the BBB and informed them that I will be going to the Pennsylvania State Attorney General's Office if I do not receive a full refund in 3 days time. I have been more than patient and they have had every opportunity to do the right thing.

As I stand today, my money is gone. I have no furniture for the baby, and no money with which to buy the furniture I need.

STAY AWAY FROM BABY AGE. THEY ARE NOTHING MORE THAN A DROP-SHIPPER WITH NO INVENTORY THAT TAKES ZERO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SALE.

Finally received refund after threatening to contact state atty general

Baby Age's customer service is absolutely awful. However, after calling multiple times, filing a BBB complaint, and threatening to contact the state atty general's office they refunded my purchase in full.

I have since bought my furniture local.
