Bally Total Fitness And Ray Voss Ripoff False Advertisement Dishonest Sales Practices Houston Texas

I made an apointment to come in and get information and pricing about a membership at Bally Total Fitness for the $5 down membership. I met with a Sales Rep by the name of Ray Voss. He explained that I would get more if I come in and pay a $150 stration fee within 10 days. I stated, if I don't , will I still be able to get the membership with $5 down or cancel altogether. He told me that in order to hold it at that price I needed to sign some papers.

I told him that I only wanted information so that I can take home and go over it with my husband. He said, that's what I am giving you. I was also told that I would get a phone call from a Trainer, which I did not. No one even scheduled a tour with me. And when I went to the gym to work out and have my card swiped, I was told that the system was down and I clearly saw a computer up and running. I called and left messages for the manager and he has not returned my calls.

I was also told by Mr. Voss that I didn't even have to work out, just stop by and have my card swiped. I feel that the information given to me was misrepresented. I feel used and disgusted that a reputable place like Bally Total Fitness would allow their sales reps to engage in practices like this.
