I went to Bangor Car Care because our family vehicle broke down. This happend during tax refund season and Bangor Car Care was advertising like crazy for there business. After receiving our tax refund we went up to see what was there. We tried out a couple different vehicles and were surprised as to how trusting they were. They slap temp plates on and off you go, even if they're over crowded and busy in their small "business office".

I needed a family vehicle since I have a toddler and another baby on the way. I knew I wanted a van so we would have plenty of room. After looking at the first van we saw I was disgusted. The floor was stained and had water setting in the seat tracking. It smelled like wet feet, wet dog and rotten food. I thought maybe this vehicle was for someone who needed it but was very low on cash.

We continued to look and saw a Silver Chrystler Grand Voyager. While test driving it we noticed a slight snapping noise in the right front end and mentioned that to the dealer after trying it out. But that was "nothing we should worry about."

After purchasing the Grand Voyager and driving it for a day or two, the snapping was noticably worse, the brakes started squealing when brakeing and right after takeing off, the steering wheel had a slight shake to it due to tire not holding air pressure which also caused the vehicle to pull to the right.

My boyfriend called up Bangor Car Care and they transferred us to the garage. He told them what was wrong and they said to bring it in, that they knew what vehicle he was talking about and it shouldn't have gone out to the dealership yet. They scheduled us in the next morning and told us it would only take about a half an hour.

After arriving at the garage we were sent to the "waiting room" which was just a couple run down dealership offices with parts of the ceiling panel missing and heavy metal music from the garage vibrating the walls.

We sat as patiently as we could with our 1 year old for about an hour. My boyfriend went out to ask them how things were going. They informed us it would be about 15 more minutes. They also informed us it had a broken motor mount and that it needed a new ty rod end. 3 hours after arriveing they let us know it was "complete".
We drove down the road not even a mile and noticed it pulled even worse to the right. Enough so that if you let go of the wheel driving down a strait road in about 3-4 seconds you would be in the ditch. After calling the garage back they told us "they don't do alignments, they just put the ty rods in." and that the vehicle really had nothing to do with Bangor Car Care anymore it's now the property of "Persian Acceptance".

The worse thing you can get into is any type of contract with Persian Acceptance. They only deal with direct payments through your bank account. They don't report to the credit bureau for good payments to help your credit. The only time they have anything to do with credit is if you miss payments and the vehicle gets reposessed. Then they report that to go against you.
