Best Buy Geek Squad lied about Price Matching Best Buy will not honor thier published LPG Policy Colorado Springs Colorado

I recently tried to purchase a Car Alarm from Best Buy. Iwas told that it would cost a MINIMUM of $699.99 to install in my 2010 Ford Expedition.

I found an identical item on Amazon for $260 less, so I contacted Best Buy (4 seperate times)

This Viper 5706V was priced at $239.99, fulfilled by Amazon, and ironically had a link in the product description to the Best Buy item SKU 1625756 from Best Buy online.

On call #3, I was told by a Cutomer Service Rep that it lacked the LPG logo, and that was the reason they woulnd't honor thier policy. So I found that item WITH the logo online as well;

Best Buy has an in store  price of $499.99 for JUST the item

After visiting 3 storees, and speaking to 2 Managers and one Geek Squad Member they came down in price to $672.00 Just the item price difference alone should have resulted in a $360 savings. Not the $29 they were willing to give me (and I would have paid $31 in taxes, as opposed to free shipping from Amazon)

In the end, they wanted almost $450 to install a $240 item. Best Buy is a RipOff in my opinion, and I hope you do not do business with them. They are dishonest.
