Better Trades Hard Sell scammers from Seminar in Warwick Rhode Island, Internet

In 2006, I attended a seminar at a hotel in Warwick RI for this company claiming to help individuals
make money from learning about Trades. The seminar was lengthy, and full of information
and they were pushing for you to buy their program as well as selling you additional products
to help you become successful.  I went on a payment program to join this service.

Within a few days, I realized I couldn't meet the demands of this along with my regular
full time teaching job.  I called and was told that I couldn't get out of the agreement. I 
asked about the transition period and was told it was too late.  I continued to pay them as it
was directly debited out of my account for awhile with it totaling a little more than $1000.00

I had to close my checking account due to another issue and I never added Better Trades
back onto my account and never paid them anymore.  They began calling and harrassing 
and looking for their money. I ignored them and never paid them another dime.  

Recently, I received a phone call, as is Feb. 2013, for this 2005 debt. They have been continually
calling and leaving messages and I finally answered the call.  It is a collection agency trying to
collect for Better Trades on an scam that I never made any money on.  They want $800. but would
be willing to take a settlement of $405. I told the debt collector, I would have to call her back.  

So, to be clear, an illegal business opportunity which is really a scam, and they were able to get about $1000 out of me back in 2007, currently has turned my account over to a collection agency
demanding their money.  Someone is delusional and this time, it's not me!
