I have worked almost every retail job there is and know there are good and bad workers everywhere. With that said, I have recieved the 6th automated message in 1 year telling me that yet again I have not returned my movies.

But wait------I did return them, each time, 2 days early or the day of... when I call the store they ALWAYS FIND THEM IN THE DROP BOX AND APOLOGISE!! Now, if I had not turned them in I would have no problem paying. This is not the case however.

I called the district manager the 3rd time it happened and only got a voice mail and had to leave a message, 4 days and 5 messages later, noone had called me back. Frustrated, I stopped going to the bbv location (the only one this happens to me at).

But dumb me, I got sucked back in this last time and sure enough, I get another automated message today ( I returned them 3 days ago) and speak to the manager.

The manager insists adamently, that he checked the shelf, checked the drop box, and looked everywhere and they aren't to be found. I argued that yes, I returned them, described when and how, and suddenly, he finds them in the drop box but insists that they havent been there for 3 days because he is the "manager" and would know if they had.

After explaining that no, I did not return them last night after 10pm as I am home sick for 2 days now... he says that yet again, Implying I am a liar.... there is no way they were there for 3 days. Well, if this is true, and what he said at first is they are not in the store but like a miracle from above, when I dont roll over and pay for the movies, they appear in the drop box in 3 seconds... am I the liar or is he??

I am fed up with this particular location, particular reoccuring and magicly disappearing and reappearing movies, being told I am the liar, when obviosly I didnt lie, he did, as well as 5 previous similar instances where the employees have apologised to ME for the mistake and the inconvenience(which I do appreciate and yes , I was polite)!

If I could call the district or regional manager I would, but as I never got an reply the first time I figure why bother as they aren't gonna do a thing to them anyway!

So , I am letting everyone know now, bbv employees good and bad, and anyone else on here who has been thru this as well, I am no longer going to pay for movies and hence, employees hourly wage by giving business to them, to have each and every movie I rent become a magic trick.

I should not have to and choose not to! I will buy the movies I like on dvd or go to the movies and enjoy the theatre seating and popcorn to get less problems, at least I know I can't be accused of taking the movie reel home with me and not returning it!
