I have been going to the same blockbuster store for over 2 years and was told by an employee that you could hold movies five days after it is due. Been doing that the hole time since I have been going to the store. Find out rented two disc of the Season Lost and they decided to charge me for not only those two but the rest of the season that I do not have. $80 plus the overdraft fee that my bank had charged me. So I just paid 112 for the two discs that i have plus the ones that I do not have.

Told me that if I brought them in. They would pay some of the money back, but still have to pay a restocking fee for all that i do not have, and there is nothing they can do about the overdraft. But if they would have just charged me for the two dvd's then I would not be overdrown. Netflix has just won my business.

Not only do I agree with Nuggets, but what is it with customers and not reading?
It's on your receipt everywhere, the computer calls you, and it's on the contract that you sign. I fail to see how any of this is a 'rip off' if you are given then information, and YOU make the CHOICE not to read it.

Enjoy netflix, seeing as they auto-debit just the same.

Look at it this way. Blockbuster gets 6 discs for LOST...and say they get one each.

How many customers do you think would be turned away if two of those 6 discs, perhaps even 1 disc of those 6 discs were missing? So, in essence, you are taking business away for those other discs even if you did not rent them.

If you rent a series on netflix, or blockbuster online, those are locked up so that you may receive them in order. If another customer keeps disc 1 or 2 out, you have to wait for those discs to move on because hey, who wants to miss out on certain episodes?

I'm sure I speak for a lot of employees when I say, good riddance, and thank god for you going to netflix because we don't need you keeping movies out late and calling us to complain about your tardiness.
