sales people make you belive and think that this is the best company when in fact if you fall for this you will have a high payment, a damage yard, pittiful looking work, and worse of all a battle on your hands to keep home. These people are con artist. harrsing phone calls and legal battles are a mess for us. still am not sure how they con me into this and what to do about it have contacted a lawyer and will stay with a lawyer to the end of this battle.

lien on home and they are tryin to make us pay in full a payment of over 12 thousand dollars on a stinking 18 by 18 pool that can be purchased for under 2 thousand. was so coned into this that I am furious with myself and about to loose home if I can not win this with a lawyer BE ware of Blue world pools...Please some one help if u can.. thanks

I have inside info and I know this business. This is a father and son run company with the son in charge. If you look at your contract if will say home office Carson City Nevada, or they use to. If you file suit against a company,most instances you must file against them in their home office city and state. True, they are Atlanta based and contract the installers and sales people, so few actual employees. They have changed their name several times as you can read here on this site.

You should have read your contract before you signed and asked questions. See who is actually the lender, who you are to make the payments to. This company has a bad rep for seizing property with liens as I heard it. Your loan must have been secured by your property, after all how does one repo a swimming pool?

In amounts over $10k, most of these home improvement loans are secured. Since you have a lawyer I am sure he has advised you what to do. The best way to pursue this is file your own law suit to counter against them. File complaints with your Tn. attorney generals office, for consumer fraud and the BBB. But, you must be able to prove your case. If your signed contract reads as I think it does, you have agreed to arbitration, without a courtroom for settlement, which means in case of suit you agree to the terms of a mediator.

Here is another way, the salesman was to have verbally read to you and your spouse if applicable, the 3 day federal receission law/right to cancel and both of you are to have signed and dated it, handed you copies the date of your contract.

In federal consumer laws, any in home sales that does not do this, the contract is void and non binding. Any financial institution that is federally regulated that lends through sales companies that do not comply, you may file a complaint against that lender for fraud as well. This is one reason these companies use independent sales contractors too. The sales person has no control over bad installation and most likely told you what he was trained to say. If he dropped his price and gave you a demo pool or show pool paper, that is just a drop, to close the deal, not binding or real. Luck
I know this pool sales business very well. They also sell for Thermo spas.
