Bluegreen Vacation Rentals , Bluegreen Corporation SCAM RIPOFF promised 2 years free maintenance, billed from day one Nothing but trouble since this purchase. Myrtle Beach South Carolina

When my girlfriend and I purchased at Myrtle Beach, we took a tour at Shore Crest Resort. We thought we were buying at Shore Crest but when we received our papers we were deeded in Charleston SC.

We received in writing 2 free yrs maintance. However there were bills included stating the due date in 2002. Since we received our first letter, we have since received more letters documenting late fees and charges. Other than the late fees, they have also turned this matter over to the Credit Bureau. They have also stated that I can't use the resort until the amount is paid in full.

We were also given a free cruise with this. We have suggested four dates for this and also sent $100.00 for the reservation. All we have been given is excuses as to why the dates aren't appropiate.

I have since asked for my money to be returned, which took at least 2 months to receive.

Where there was a disagreement between us, I faxed copies of the agreement to the manager and he wrote our contract 4-5 times.

I have hired an attorney to take care of this matter. I spoke with the manager 2 weeks ago, he is going to remove the late charges and also remove it from the Collections Department. I will pay the maintenance fees which are due August 18, 2003.

Do not use Bluegreen Resort in Myrtle Beach SC, if you aren't interested in getting ripped off. We have had nothing but trouble since this purchase and we haven't even been able to use it. I had made multiple calls to the manager, which never returned my call. He would just continuously send *Bonus Weeks and Cruises*.

I am very pissed off with this matter and will get a permit to protest this site and will let as many people as possible know about Bluegreen resort Sales Office in Myrtle Beach SC.
