Bobby Adams advertised a classic car that had a radio, heater, rebuilt engine and transmission, engine built by one of the best companies in the state, told me he had all maintenance records. When I finally received the car, the radio didn't work, the heater didn't work, the engine was rebuilt 20 years ago by a small shop in Denver, the transmission block was cracked, the car gearshift was not working, the heater didnt work and worst of all...the drip pan for the oil was located so low that my mechanic told me if a rock had hit the pan the car could have caught on fire and the motor would absolutely be ruined. He was sloppy, deceptive and dishonest. I am going to have to put over $2000 to get it to the condition that I thought I bought it in. Be careful of this character.

Bobby Adams is a dishonest business man

The car was bought on eBay and there is a guarantee on all purchases however, what you dont see in the fine print is that eBay wont guarantee a classic car. So, as an eBay buyer for years and NEVER having any issues, I purchased the car after talking with the dealer in length. The guy is a thief and a liar.
Lesson learned...dont deal with Bobby Adams and dont trust people...even eBay.
Doesnt take away the dishonesty of a car dealer that lies to clients, promises to pay for some of the repairs and then disappears. Bobby Adams is a schmuck!
I will let the courts decide who is right and who is wrong.....

Bobby Adams refuses to acknowledge the fact that he didnt do his homework on a car that he sold for another individual. I bought this car through the guidance of a VW mechanic that restores cars for a living...so Bobby was not telling the truth again.
Bobby's add for the car said the car had a heater. The heater didnt work.
He said the car had a stereo, no stereo or speakers and the antenna was loose and didnt work.
He said the car was in perfect condition, beautifully restored, new engine, no work needed to be done. The engine was 20 years old, the drip pan was so low to the ground that 2 mechanics said that it could have caught the car and engine on fire, the trans mount was cracked, the fuel line was clogged, the oil was in desperate need of changing, the windshield wipers didnt work.
Bobby said he had all maintenance records. He had the original records (showing the engine was 20 years old) but nothing after 1996. 20 years missing.
Bobby said he put seatbelts in. He put illegal seatbelts in the front seat that I had to replace to make legal, and no seatbelts in the back that I had to add so I could legally drive the car.
He said he would send me all the professional pictures from the car that he used to advertise it. All I got was pictures taken by the owner that were not professional, completely different set and quality of pictures.
Because I was so misled, I asked Bobby to reimburse me for the repairs. He refused. After I spent $5k getting the car up to the standard that he advertised it to be in, he offered to buy the car back...so I am supposed to be $5k in the hole? I dont think so...again, Bobby tells 1/2 the story.
So I asked him to split the difference ($2500), he agreed. He kept delaying payment and even lied and said he mailed a $300 check. Check never came. He said he would pay me in April, never heard from him again. The man is a liar and a scam artist.
So, now I am having to sue him in civil court and I am currently filing complaints with the BBB and consumer complaint departments in AZ. This guy is not someone you want to deal with!!!

The buyer of this car has never owned a classic car before and is very hard to deal with, making unreasonable requests. The buyer took the car to a mechanic and they told the customer there were several potential problems with the car. This was a beautiful fully restored car and there machanic scared the buyer. It had some high performance parts which were disclosed in my ad. She was worried and wanted me to pay $2,500 for something that was not broken. We offered to to buy the car back at full price and she refused to do that. I'm not paying to fix something that is not broken. I thought giving the customer all there money back was the best option and fairest for both parties. We sell over 100 cars per year and that is classic cars with rarely any problems. This women should have bought a 2016 VW, not a 1970's. WE DID NOT lie or misrepresent the car. I guess you can't make everyone happy and I tried my best. Thanks, Bobby

You send off your money to somebody you don't know to buy some dumb, stupid car you've never seen! Smart! Real, real, real smart! The only basis you have for this stupid purchase is pictures, words in an e-mail and a voice in the earpiece of a phone! You were ripped off and guess who helped them and played perfectly into their hands??? All this for a dumb, stupid car!
